A Japanese man jailed 17 years ago for the alleged abduction and murder of a 4-year-old girl has been released after DNA evidence was said to be flawed. Toshikazu Sugaya was arrested in 1990, convicted and sentence to life in prison after police found DNA evidence on the girl. Recent retest have shown that the evidence was flawed. A confession given to police admitting his guilt was given under exteme duress Sugaya said.
